RACE RESULTS

Here are our results from the 2023 racing season in the Dirt Track Riders Association Championship.

ROUND ONE – Greenfield Dirt Track

Greenfield Dirt Track was the host of the season-opening DTRA round this past weekend, where our riders Alan Birtwistle, Colin McCabe, and Phil Wilding were in attendance on their Alta Redshift bikes.

It was a solid start for the three riders, with points on the board for Alan and Colin in the pro and intermediate classes; unfortunately, an injury for Phil saw him sit out of the rookie race, which is disheartening given he had some serious pace, as he proved in the electric class with incredibly competitive times.

The electric series saw another 1-2-3 for the boys too, with Alan the winner.

All in all, a strong start to the season, and the podium is well within reach for all three riders!

ROUND TWO – MCN Festival Peterborough

It was a weekend of mixed fortunes at the MCN Festival in Peterborough.

Both Phil and Alan took home solid P5 finishes in their respective classes, with the podium in sight for both riders aboard their electric bikes, racing against a field of petrol powered bikes.

Unfortunately Colin was unable to race due to an injury, we are looking forward to seeing him back on track soon!

ROUND THREE – greenfield tt

Round three of the DTRA series is done!

Our Alan bagged a podium finish in the pro class, which has catapulted him up the standings to P2 overall. He was also victorious in the electric series to increase his lead over the rest of the field.

Phil was able to take home a solid P5 in the rookie class, with that podium getting closer and closer every time we race.

With Colin out of action, we were joined by James, who gave Phil a run for his money in the electric class—very impressive given he’d never raced an electric bike before!
